BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Mets 6:35 PM game against the New Britain Rock Cats has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium on August 7 at 5:35 PM. The teams will play two seven-inning contests with gates opening at 5:00 PM for the twin bill.
Monday's rainout is the second postponement this season for the B-Mets.
Ticketholders for tonight's game can redeem their ticket for one of equal or lesser value to any future 2012 regular season home game, excluding July 3.
The B-Mets (14-15) will start their rain-shortened series tomorrow night against the New Britain Rock Cats at 6:35 PM. LHP Mark Cohoon takes the mound for Binghamton against LHP Andrew Albers. The Horizons Federal Credit Union pre-game show begins at 6:20 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
